Teleflex Vascular Catalog
Description
Teleflex Vascular
Mar 2017 – Apr 2019
In order to create an online presence for Teleflex’s Vascular products, a Vascular Online Catalog was created to fit seamlessly into the teleflex.com site experience, while also being able to serve as a stand-alone application. Many of the features desired for the Web Catalog parallel those for e-commerce solutions: lists of products, grouped in various ways, with the ability to be searched, and curated through a secure back-end. Additionally, the long-term vision of the Web Catalog includes becoming an e-commerce platform, with visitors being able to browse the collection of products online and order them directly.
The Vascular web catalog was built using the latest best practices and techniques in Responsive Web Design, including Flexbox and CSS Grid. The use of these tools provided a more modern, lean, and performant codebase that renders faster, uses fewer resources, increases conversion rate, and keep users engaged for longer without frustrating delays in load and render time.
I worked with the Marketing and Programming departments to determine project concept, needs and features in order to develop the project scope and estimate. I was also in charge of the planning, direction and management of the front end development work.
